Welcome to the first member in our series of getting to know the E Toilet Sales team! Today we meet our Driver, Mark Shepherd.

Please explain what you do in a few sentences!

In my role, I deliver and collect toilets, whilst servicing them to keep the toilets clean and fresh for our customers.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

I enjoy driving, so my favourite thing is driving around places I’ve never been and seeing some of the lovely houses and landscapes is a bonus. Also, it is nice to chat to our customers and build that personal relationship.

What’s your favourite moment you have done?

My favourite moment would have to be getting Employee of the Month as it’s always nice to be acknowledged for just being who I am.

What’s your biggest achievement within E Toilet Sales?

The 16th of May was my One Year Anniversary, so I am not sure what it would be so far. Learning a new trade and being comfortable doing it, I would say is one.

What piece of advice would you give to yourself at the beginning of your career?

Best piece of advice would be to listen. Every day is a school day and you can learn new things all the time. Stretch your abilities but never over reach.

What do you do to unwind?

I like to walk my flat coated retriever ‘Bertie’ in the fields behind my house. I love to watch Arsenal at the ‘Emirates’ with my son and now my grandson comes too. Also, I like to shoot some arrows in the garden after taking up archery during Covid in 2020.

What’s your party trick?

Not sure this is a party trick, but I can DJ a good party. I still have all my 33’s + 45’s but nowadays the decks are on iPads not sound systems.

Anything exciting coming up?

I have a new grandson arriving in July which I am looking forward to. My first grandson ‘Eli’ is a breath of fresh air and keeps me on my toes. Love our 3rd generation football days with my family.
