E Toilet Sales have put some handy tips together to help with the delivery of your Toilet hire delivery. We want to make your delivery as smooth as possible.
Here are six tips to make sure this happens!

◼️ Providing us with a mobile number for someone on-site. Providing us with an up to date mobile number for a contact on the site means we can talk to your site directly!

◼️Send us your What3words! Need your toilet delivered into a specific space? Send us your What3words and we can ensure your toilet is delivered within that square!

◼️Can we fit a flatbed truck into the space? Our toilets are delivered on a flatbed truck, so if there is restricted access; let us know so we are able to plan and assess the best way to deliver your chosen hire!

Features of E Toilet Sales’ Hot Wash Toilets

E Toilet Sales provides Hot Wash toilets equipped with a re-circulating system and a hot wash heater. This heater heats water in the wash basin and is available in both 110v and 240v options.

HSE Regulations and Specifications

In compliance with HSE regulations, the wash basin in our Hot Wash toilets is spacious enough for washing up to your elbow. We maintain the water temperature between 40-43˚C for optimal hand washing. The heater takes approximately eight minutes to heat the water.

Weekly Service and Customer Responsibilities

As part of our weekly service, we fill the unit with water. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to keep the unit filled throughout the week. If the water runs dry, the internal thermal safeguard will activate. Immediately switch off the unit to prevent permanent damage and refill it with water. Allow 1-2 minutes before turning it back on.

Preventing Frost Damage

To prevent frost damage, keep the hot wash heater connected to the electricity supply and switched on at all times.

How to Calculate Your Portable Toilet Requirements?

Determining the Number of Toilets Needed at a Construction Site

Many customers ask us how many re-circulating portable chemical toilets they need for their construction site.

Guideline for Toilet Requirements

The answer is straightforward: you need one toilet for every seven people based on a 40-hour work week.

Understanding Varying Site Conditions

At E Toilet Sales, we recognize that construction sites often have fluctuating numbers of workers. The number of trades on-site can increase or decrease your workforce. That’s why we offer flexible services for your chemical toilets. Whether you need servicing twice a week, daily, or just once a month, we can adapt our schedule to meet your needs.

Welcome to the Origins of E Toilet Sales Blog 🙂

The Origins of E Toilet Sales

Origins of E Toilet Sales– E Toilet Sales began in the summer of 2010 when two friends on holiday conceived the idea of a Portable Toilet Company in the UK. After enjoying a few beers, E Toilet Sales was born!

Choosing the Name E Toilet Sales

The name “E Toilet Sales” emerged from a creative challenge. One of our previous directors, Trevor Leake, ran a company called ETS. We needed to find words that fit with the letters ETS while incorporating “toilet.”

Early Developments in 2010

In October 2010, we registered as Easy Toilet Service. We were fortunate to become the UK distributors for Armal portable toilets and accessories soon after.

Rebranding to E Toilet Sales

In 2011, we decided to change our name from Easy Toilet Services to E Toilet Sales. The use of orange toilets with the word “Easy” made it feel like we were imitating a well-known brand.

Acquisition and Rebranding in 2021

In 2021, Site Equip acquired ETS and rebranded the company to E Toilet Sales. This change marked a significant milestone in our journey.

Exciting Achievements at the Olympic Park

Last year, we proudly hired out our toilets for the Olympic Park, positioning ourselves at Stratford Station. This opportunity showcased our growth and commitment to quality service.

How to set up a re-circulating portable chemical toilet

How to set up a Re-circulating Portable Chemical Toilet

Our Re-circulating Portable Chemical Toilet operates on a re-circulating basis. This means the fluid collected in the waste tank gets recycled for flushing

Preparing Your Toilet for Use

After receiving your chemical toilet, follow these simple instructions to prepare it for use:

  1. Open the Toilet Tank
Lift the toilet seat lid completely to expose the base of the tank. You will see a hose and filter connected to the pull flush handle.
  2. Add Chemical Additive
Take your blue chemical additive and pour in the required amount according to the instructions.
  3. Add Water
Next, add approximately 15-20 litres of water. Make sure the water covers the filter bag attached to the hose at the bottom of the tank.
  4. Test the Flush
Once you complete the above steps, close the tank lid. Pull the flushing handle to test if the toilet draws up the fluid from the tank. If it doesn’t, add a little more water or pull the handle a few times to remove any air.
  5. Ready for Use
When the water and chemical flow through the flush pump, the toilet is ready for use.

Monitoring and Emptying the Tank

The tank can hold approximately 200 litres of fluid before it needs emptying. Check the tank regularly to determine when it requires servicing.

Finding Wet Waste Disposal Services

To empty your tank, locate wet waste disposal companies in your area. You can find them in a local directory or Yellow Pages.
